Roles and Responsibilities
Regional sales manager - Sales - Mumbai
Location: MUMBAI ZONE 1 (Western Line + South Mumbai+ GOVT SALES)
Reporting Manager:
Purpose of Position:The purpose of the position is to create and develop Instrumentation / Reagents market for the trade and Govt. /Private institutions, for company’s range of instrumentation / Reagents products.
The position requires the individual to coordinate with the Customers (Users), Channel Partners - Dealers & Super distributors to ensure that the set Sales targets are achieved.
The position requires the individual to demonstrate products as necessary sell products and train the customers and Sales team for the company’s range of instruments/ reagents. The position also requires monitoring of stock at distributors & super distributors to ensure availability of our products at all time & follow up of all payments due to company to avoid any delays.
Job Responsibility:-
- 1. Govt. / Trade Customer coverage for the assigned geographic areas. Government Sales for all Customers in Mumbai Territory.
- 2. To work towards Expansion of company footprint - vis a vis Customers and Channel Partners in the assigned Geography. Channel partner expansion to be done as per company guidelines.
- 3. To have a clear understanding of the company’s Customer base - the ideal customer, potential customers and ensuring that the team members are also clear on the same.
- 4. Achievement of Sales Targets as designated by the company. The targets are to be given at the time of joining and are to be updated on a monthly basis. Performance reports to be sent as per assigned format in a timely manner.
- 5. To conduct DEMO of products on Daily basis and submit weekly Demo tracker.
- 6. To participate in conferences with the Medical Fraternity with the approval of the reporting manager/management.
- 7. To Collect market information on competitor strategies/ products and maintain a SWOT analysis of the market. To be updated monthly and/or as per requirements sent from the reporting manager.
- 8. To ensure participation in Gov. Tenders and in case direct supplies are made from the Company, follow-up and collection of payment and Earnest Money Deposits.
- 9. To submit all reports as per norms of the company.
- 10. To Implement the Company Strategy as communicated by Reporting Manager.
- 11. .To have overall control on work activity of the entire state team reporting to the individual
- 12. To Report to the respective Managers as directed by the company.
- 13. To carry out Any other Task assigned by the reporting Manager
