Brief Job Responsibilities:
Content and communication: • Development of an effective content plan for the organization by assessing business goals, prospect needs, content requirements, and content sources • Creation of compelling and engaging content that will stand out and appropriately differentiate the company in different formats • Close collaboration with the Marketing peers as well as Operations to translate business and marketing goals into meaningful content deliverables • Management of end to end production process including writing outlines, developing the schedule, and managing review cycles across all communication channels including digital, print, press and video • Proofread all content works thoroughly as part of the proofing process • Effective management of the website content, including guiding internal stakeholders in developing new content and optimizing legacy content • Build presentations and other communication vehicles to distribute content information • Localize global content to suit the local needs • Own the PR agency relationship - manage, conceptualize, plan and execute effective PR strategies and media relations • Develop press releases, guest posts, and other public relations related content • Coordinate with clients/partners on various communications and marketing activities such as webinars, speaker opportunities, media placements etc. • Find impactful publicity opportunities through speaking roles, sponsorships and memberships • Stay up to date on trends in content creation used in the marketing field; research topics quickly and thoroughly • Together with the Social Media and Community Management Specialist, identify industry influencers • Conceptualize and create all influencer communications • Review of marketing materials to ensure proper use of brand voice / messaging in all channels • Build collaborative, positive relationships across the organization and with external partners • Be a role model for departmental branding policies
Analyst/Industry Relations: • Ensure we regularly feature in key Analyst reports across leading firms like Gartner, Forrester, IDC etc. • Work with product and solution teams to ensure we engage meaningfully with analysts that eventually leads to report citations and referrals • Monitor revenue impact from analyst engagements including tracking of Search, readership and inquiry which is an outcome of the planned analyst engagements • Facilitating analyst briefings and calls in line with business priorities and Analyst relation goals. • Oversee budget, analysis and recommendations for purchased analyst research services to realize maximum ROI • Support the corporate communications team in other PR-related programs and activities related to analyst citations • Responding to analyst inquiries, monitoring briefings, ensuring that deliverables are provided and suggesting research topics • Developing and monitoring an analyst report calendar for coverage potential along with weekly reporting and reviews and communication/engagement plan. • Liaise with the Analyst teams for approvals related to report citations. • Manage the relationship with key associations like DAA, Insights association, NASSCOM etc. that we are currently engaged with • Leverage these association relationships for content, business opportunities, Sponsorship, Speaking opportunities etc. • Manage renewals and timely engagement to ensure we derive maximum value from these relationships • Reporting on website traffic generated from these sites and identifying means to drive larger volumes
Event Planning: • Regular analysis of event ROI and suggesting areas of improvement • Ensure Event leads are nurtured with effective content and messaging • Manage all services for events and sponsorships in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams • Oversee the development, distribution and maintenance of a comprehensive event calendar • Make event recommendations based on sales and marketing strategy • Handle all estimates, invoices and budgets for events • Create and manage content for event collateral • Ensure that all events are in compliance with brand guidelines and that all displays, collateral, and materials are in accordance with corporate identity standards • Order and coordinate delivery of promotional items
Competency/Skills:
• Should have at least at 3 years experience in Content Management as Content Strategist, Content Manager or similar role with a background to Analyst relations, PR and other Marketing communication • Having the ability to develop engaging content for a wide range of audiences. • You are a creative marketing professional, preferably with a strong content creation and writing background. • A portfolio of published articles. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as a member of the Marketing team and cross-functional teams • Extensive knowledge of the English language • Experience in developing and executing content strategies and sales enablement, preferably in B2B environment • Outstanding creativity, writing, editing and proofreading skills • Ability to research topics in depth efficiently and independently • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language • Extensive experience in all aspects of developing event strategies and effective management to meet organizational objectives • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and with high expectations • Ability to think outside the box, operate within set budgets and respond well to change • Enthusiasm and willingness to assume responsibility - either as a leader, strategic contributor or tactical implementer • Must be able to work with limited supervision and self-described self-starter • Knowledge of Content Management Systems and ability to edit a blog post/page. • Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing • Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g. Moz and Google Keyword Planner) • Experience using social media for business • Solid writing and editing skills in English. • Ability to guide and motivate team member
