Job Description
Purpose of the Job:
Align with overall objectives of TMT Projects & Solutions to meet long & short-term objectives for the division by
understanding existing and future needs of the customers. Provide support in Business development and Customer
adoption of Construction Solutions (Cut n Bend, Mesh etc). Work in a team of domain experts and construction
professionals for implementation of key enablers and support in achievement of solutions-based outcomes and
milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Ensure that the Enablers and Solutions targets are achieved as per ABP/OSP:
a)Create and Support in developing and sustaining funnel of Order Book and Order execution
b)Participate in Preparation of OSP every month and updating the order book on time
c)Participate in regular review for Sales with SMs and Channel Partners
d)Customer / segment level market development and business acquisition
e)Facilitate and implement ideas for process improvements and cost optimisation across value chain
f)Drive digital initiatives like COMPASS & DigECA
2.Influencer and Customer Engagement
a)Regular site visits for Readybuild, wwf and coupler conversion.
b)Regular visits and presentation to consultants, government bodies like NBCC, CPWD, PWD , railways , WCI , government public sectors like BHEL , MIAL ETC . Ensure end to end delivery of Readybuild, Smartfab, Coupler etc. from Pre-Sale, order execution/fulfilment to post Sales.
c)Interface with Solution Partner operation & design team to handle the complaint and resolve within timeline specified as per policy
d)Regular interaction with customer design teams for incorporating CRS, Fe600[HD] , fe550d in their projects .
e)Regular interaction with Readybuild plant for effectively servicing customer requirement
3.Long Term Planning-Developing and follow through on blueprint to propel the company to its vision of becoming a “Preferred Construction solution partner in long steel for Construction industry”
4.Operation Management-Contracting with various SPCs and Solution partners for supplies of Readybuild, Smartfab, couplers etc. and ensure right commercial, quality and various statutory and non-statutory compliances.
5.Quality Assurance
a)Ensure Quality Assurance as per QAP
b)Conduct Frequent Quality Audits of various SPCs and Readybuild Centres.
c)Implement Quality Standards (Ex ISO 9001, ISO 14000 etc.)
6.Risk Management & Prioritization
a)Must Ensure risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation, risk treatment, and risk monitoring.
b)Guide site team/Vendors/Production partners and ensure Priorities of jobs sites are met based on requirements
7.People Development
a)Developing the distributor’s organization structure for the Solution partners in terms of capability and capacity to do value selling
8.Digital Initiatives
a)Embrace and enable digitalization, while designing various offerings and solutions to drive efficiency, scalability and uniqueness.
b)This may require deep engagement with various civil engineering software developers like SCADA, STAADPRO, AutoCAD, CUBE
