Reporting to Head of IT. we are looking for a driven IT Manager to join our growing IT Team. The right individual should be a strong team player, able to use own initiative, demonstrate good IT skills and have a friendly nature.
Key Responsibilities
- Helping the Head of IT with all aspects of implementing and managing IT systems throughout the group.
- Work closely with operations and other internal teams covering new projects and support functions in office and trading restaurant locations.
- Oversee management of all suppliers for both hardware and software for a wide range of systems utilising excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Build and lead a team of IT professionals to maximise their performance to achieve excellent technical capability for the long term.
- Working with business managers to understand business requirements and to engineer solutions from through the complete project life cycle.
- Deliver systems in a fast paced and pressurised environment at optimised cost.
- You will be required to step into the role as incident lead when a major outage or disruption occurs, forming part of the resolution team as required.
- The role covers core hours as well as out of hours support on a rota basis for Priority 1 incidents.
- On occasion the role can also be required to cover unsociable hours for project delivery so a flexible approach to working hours is required.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- A high level of technical ability across multiple disciplines including windows servers, networking, security, applications, desktops, and EPOS environments.
- Be able to remain calm whilst under pressure and have an ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
- Leadership qualities are very important to guide the team to achieve goals.
- Must be commercially astute, ability to find cost effective solutions is a must.
- Excellent negotiation skills are imperative.
- Excellent spoken and written communications are a mast. The role will require liaison with supplier and in group teams across the world.
- Strong attention to detail and be able to spot trends.
- Experience working with ITIL principles ensuring that the live environment is always protected.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- An ability to deeply analyse interactions to root cause an issue through to resolution and be able to stop trends from emerging.
