Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Understand the economic environment, business scenario, competitor strategies and set clear goals and priorities for the area office.
2. Understand customer expectations (implicit and explicit) and track the trends in consumer buying behaviour.
3. Identify the Measures of Performance (MOPs / KRAs) covering all aspects of Business (Tractors, Spares, Service, Implements, etc.) and proactively drive specific initiatives to achieve the targets.
4. Design and execute specific promotion schemes targeted at dealers and customers.
5. Actively participate in the selection of new dealerships and provide recommendations for Dealer resignation and termination.
6. Plan and achieve volumes, spares and other businesses.
7. Drive implementation of various systems, projects, initiatives as per organizational requirements for sustained business growth.
8. To provide regular feedback to Product/ Brand Management, Product Development, Customer Care on customers / dealers perceptions on launched products (M and M as well as competitors ) regarding product performance, pricing, promotions etc.
9. Interface within Zonal Service Managers to continuously enhance quality of service at the dealerships by ensuring availability of necessary infrastructure and appropriate systems.
10. Achieve superior Performance by managing the budget in the most optimal way.
11. Manage Billing and Receivables control and implementing Credit Management policies as per the guidelines issued by Head office and Zonal Head.
12. Enable and coach the dealers to profitably achieve business objectives
13. Periodically review subordinates performance and implement actions to meet their Development needs.
14. Ensure market share improvement through focused plan & enabling necessary actions from the team.
Experience
1. The candidate should be a Graduate (Preferably engineering Graduate) with over 10 years of sales experience. Out of this minimum 2 years experience is preferable in a people management role equivalent to Area Manager Position as described above.
