Key Result Area
- Managing the organizations quality assurance policies and controlling new product development processes in Paper & Board Plant.
- Establishing quality standards, procedures, and controls in order to meet customer requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness of processes and quality of various products.
- Environment management and compliance to legal and statutory requirements.
- Liaison with Government Authorities, GPCB, State Govt. Bodies etc.
Key Result Responsibilities
1) Planning, coordinating & directing quality control and assurance program designed to ensure continuous production of Paper and Packaging Board products consistent with established standards.
2) Coordination of water treatment including Raw water, DM water, Boiler water, process water, cooling water, Effluent Treatment and Pollution control, Stack & Air monitoring.
3) Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
4) Build positive relationship with all stake holders, Liaison with various government officials and agencies, thereby ensuring smooth operations
5) Develop and maintain the company's corporate image and identity through representation at various forums.
6) Reduction in customer complaints for both Paper & Board Plant.
7) Control of incoming materials, in-process and final products.
8) R&D activities, trials and experimentation, implementation at product development
at plant scale. Technical services to customers, organizing proactive market
visits and action plan.
9) Quality Control/Assurance of Input fibrous and non fibrous raw materials, chemicals,
Packaging material and R&D activities related to pulp, Paper & Recovery leading to quality
improvement.
10) Manpower planning for QA & TS Team and their Training & Development,
Goal setting, performance review, IDP Development & Review, ESS action plan implementation and other HR development initiatives as per management planning.
11) Trial and experimentation for New product Development and alternate materials for cost
reduction.
12) Implementation of QMS, EMS, OHS, TPM, FSC, IFC, other Standards / Management Systems including legal & statutory requirements prescribed or applicable to the company.
13) Leading Quality Maintenance Sub-Committee, set targets and implement action plan to control defect rate and reduction of defect modes and achieve objectives.
14) Other responsibilities assigned by management time to time.
