Job Description
MISSION
Analyze data to determine processes that should be added, changed or removed in order to ensure accuracy, eliminate waste, redundancies and inefficiencies, and increase overall operating efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Construct and adjust scripts in SQL as needed to design and build reporting necessary to reconcile bank to system activity.
- Identify recurring problems or automation opportunities; outline path to solution for review and triage by team leader.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all related information and milestones are accurately documented, and providing timely progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with enhancement of process documentation and SOPs; train new team members on company specific knowledge/database design.
- Provide insight on strategic recommendations for complex processes or issues that contribute to improving operational metrics.
- Analyze trends and data to identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Work with internal and external partners to develop requirements for new processes and initiatives.
- Reconcile client bank accounts in a timely manner.
- Analyze and implement automation for existing Financial Operations responsibilities to decrease human error.
- Understand project complexities to break down into smaller, attainable tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate, triage, and solution data with financial impact to clients.
Desired Candidate Profile
- BA/BS degree; degree in business-related field of study (Accounting, Business Admin, Economics, or Finance) preferred.
- 3-5 years related work experience.
- Proficiency in Excel required including Pivot Tables, Formulas, Conditional Formatting, etc.
- Coding/Querying knowledge (C, C#, C++, Java, Python, R, SQL, etc.) preferred.
- ReconArt experience is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts such as debits, credits, and the means of funding payments (e.g. check, direct deposit) is highly preferred.
