Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales planning and achievement of sales target as planned and agreed as per the strategic vision of the company
- Expand business by developing different sales channels
- Develop and lead a dynamic sales team for achieving sales objective of the company
- Review performance of distributors periodically and provide support achieving sales target and scaling up businesses in the respective areas/geographies
- Plan and develop strategy for Marketing and branding initiatives
- Develop sales and branding strategy for different verticals, considering each vertical as a profit center
- Ensure effective control of marketing activities, work within the budget, and manage effective allocation of resources
- Oversee and evaluate market research
- Set KRA/KPI for all team members and drive performance
- Expand business in unrepresented areas and geographies across Kolkata and Greater Kolkata, by appointing distributors/channel partners
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets
- Plan customer retention plans and schemes
- Work in collaboration with various other departments including - sales/products/production /HR etc
- Work closely with management team and contribute towards setting the vision map for the company
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate, MBA preferred
Minimum 7 years of prior experience in short shelf life product sales, preferably in Bread sales
