Job Description
1. Business development by identifying prospective clients and generating business by using web marketing and sending company profile, product photos and power point presentation. Updating clients new product developments and trends to achieve greater market share.
2. Attending buyer meetings and interacting with the customers on a day to day basis and preparing samples according to their specification in co-ordination with company's sample division.
3. Taking digital pictures of the new styles developed and preparing specification sheet for each new sample before shipment.
4. Recording and implementing various changes in the initial product design if and when advised by the customer and ensuring adherence of their specified quality parameters with the production and packing department.
5. Co-ordinate with factory operation, quality control and logistics dept. to ensure smooth functioning of all activities from business development to final shipment.
6. Primary costing and pricing of the product, preparing proforma invoices and getting order confirmation from the clients. Also tracking and follow up of outstanding payments of the customers.
7. Preparing daily /weekly MIS reports for material management /WIP/Finished goods/outstanding payment status etc. and submitting the same to the management.
8. Maintaining & updating Individual buyer Specs on an approved format- Specs shall include swatches of leathers offered, lining, and branded metal logos, emboss artwork & sizes etc.
9. Customer wise Report of orders in hand & proposed orders in the pipeline. This should be accompanied with a comparative bar chart of the orders received in the same month in the previous year.
