Business Analyst- Health care
We are a healthcare IT company with the pace of the growth, comes the need for bright people to keep the engine revving. We are looking for a business analyst to join the team, who wants to grow with the organization, has healthcare domain expertise and is able to translate varying business need into solution specific requirements. If you have a knack of solving business problems, an analytical way of thinking and are able to explain difficult concepts to different stakeholder groups then the rest of the details may excite you.

Defining Project Scope Defining the project scope early on effectively limits the scope of development. As a business analyst you should be able to outline the vision of the project early to help the team prioritize features essential to deliver a minimum viable product.
Business Research To accurately determine the project scope and gather necessary requirement you should be able to conduct extensive research on the customer and its business. Be comfortable brainstorming with the team, analyzing documents, learning about their products and target audience and creating prototypes.
Requirement Engineering Elicitation is paramount to the requirement gathering process as it helps to gain an explicit understanding of the business needs. Talking to the stakeholder, gathering precise solutions and business requirements will be instrumental in enabling the team craft a solution that delivers value to them.
Execution Leading the team through detailed analysis of the requirements, documenting user stories, prioritization of work with product manager, estimation and release planning with the project manager and demo to the stakeholder. This is the key role you would be playing in the project team.
Communication Extensive listening, writing and interpersonal skill are of the essence for a successful business analyst. It entails talking to a variety of stakeholders across the organization and collecting information from one person and presenting it to another. You should be able to seamlessly communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
- Graduate or Post graduate in Health and Hospital management / health administration / Biotechnology / Pharmacy.
- Hands-on experience in any one or more sub-sectors of Healthcare such as Payers, Providers, Life sciences or Healthcare Technology
- Knowledge about clinical quality measures is a plus such HEDIS, PDI, PQI etc.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously managing multiple assignments
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical terms
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
