Job Description
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Who you are:
As Oracle Enterprise Applications Architect, you are responsible for establishing the long-term strategy and data architecture, as well as the short-term scope for multi-phase data warehouse efforts in the human resource, financial and business data areas
What you will do:
- Act as the Domain Expert and be responsible for defining requirements, analysis, planning and process redesign
- Lead discussions to assess deviations between existing business processes and delivered Cloud application processes
- Recommend alternate solutions to accommodate software gaps
- Lead the documentation of design specifications
- Provide quality reviews of designs, design documentation, configuration, configuration documentation, and validation plans/scripts
- Share a point of view in planning, design, development, maintenance and ongoing support of university-wide enterprise dimensional data warehouse and supplemental systems and services
- Work closely with Oracle Cloud Financials, Procurement, Budgeting, PeopleSoft HCM technical and functional teams, and staff in defining, mapping, and building data marts to support human resource and financial reporting requirements
- Lead the effort to incorporate data to/from additional Oracle ERP sources or other non- Oracle sources, such as Huron s Effort Reporting System, Athletics System, Rutgers Foundation, etc
- Ensure the ETL framework is extensible, adheres to industry standards, and is maintainable and operational with minimum manual intervention.
- Design of all database objects in both data warehouse and associated data marts (tables & ETL routines), takes a leadership role in the implementation of Business Intelligence tools
- Support the ongoing data integration and development of new tools such as Oracle BICC, ODI, BI-Publisher, and Tableau.
- Provide support to production warehouses/marts on a 24/7 basis.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 8 years of experience on PeopleSoft update manager (PUM), PeopleSoft release patch-set (PRP) and Proof of concepts
- Expertise in installing PeopleSoft applications, People tools, Web-logic, Oracle, SQL server, PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) instances
- Demonstrated experience in Performance Tuning Of PeopleSoft Application, Oracle queries, and Oracle 12 C
- Proven ability in configuration and maintenance of Web Logic Server, Application Server components Tuxedo/Jolt and PeopleSoft Database
