Job Description
This role will partner and provide support to the APJ Sales leadership team. Responsible for driving sales productivity, sales forecasting, Pipeline cadence, sales analytics, incentive compensation initiatives, and field automation initiatives while working closely with the Sales Operations Leaders, Sales teams.
Drive standards of performance and specific actions that drive sales activities at the territory level that is consistent with predefined success criteria for the sales organization and the GEO; track and report on these activities on a periodic basis
Help develop Sales strategies jointly with SPO and sales leaders which drive incremental bookings and accelerate growth.
Generate metric reports & provide analysis for APJ Enterprise Sales Management
Proactively diagnose the analytical requirements of the sales organizations; design and deliver reporting to meet their requirements
Partner with Sales Management on business planning and strategy for their respective sales areas
Own the process and overall quality of the final presentation deliverables for key business reviews e.g., weekly/monthly field sales calls, quarterly business reviews, sales planning meetings, APJ / SEAK meetings, etc.
Setup, maintain, and modify sales territories and provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions
Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of updates to quotas, headcount and sales plan
Required Skills:
Graduate / postgraduate degree, MBA preferred
7-10 years experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Sales Finance, or related role
Experience in building and development of building Sales analytics and insights, statistical modelling, metrics/dashboard development
Experience working with SaaS and/or Subscription products
Highly motivated, self-starter, strategic/analytical thinker with a can-do attitude, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs and a keen eye for details
Excellent and proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects with competing priorities
Ability to navigate through a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment
Strong communication, executive presence, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels
Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
