Urgent Requirement for FICO + Costing Lead
Candidate from the Textile industry would be preferred.
Education: CA, ICWA, CFA, MBA ( Finance)
Experience Required: 5 to 10 years
Role & Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements & reports by examining journal and ledger entries, Inventories, expenditures, and other accounting transactions, accounting process of individuals, departments within organizations, to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls.
- Handle Cost Audit of the organization to ensure compliance with the statutory requirement of Ministry of Corporate Affairs and preparation of a detailed report on Cost Audit findings and recommendation for maintaining a robust cost accounting system.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies & procedures to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of information systems for Cost Audit.
- Support overall accounting systems to ensure adherence to internal control procedure and to prepare financial information for various departments/stakeholders within organization.
- Work in the areas of inventory valuation, inventory ageing analysis, conversion cost, variance analysis, margin analysis and management reporting.
- Work in the areas of cost centre accounting, profit centre accounting, product costing, profitability analysis, result analysis, month & year end activities, overhead assessment, and settlement to ensure accurate recording & meaningful analysis of Cost & Financial information.
- Conduct business & technical studies in order to understand the AS-IS process and design the TO-BE process. Provide business solutions and functional support for the SAP FICO module including its sub-ledgers such as GL, AP, AR, and AA. Work on various process improvements to reduce system processing time & focus on automation wherever feasible.
- Gather information on business requirements and preparation of the customized report in SAP. Prepare functional specification for various developments & get the reports developed in ABAP, report painter & other reporting tools.
- Handle support issues of FICO & MM/SD integration, functional testing, and integration testing. Advice on information systems policy and management to minimize the effects of security breaches.
- Implement end-to-end functionalities in the fields of FI, CO, PA & taxation aspects & be able to do configuration related to these.
- Provide end-user training (business staff) and handle day to day queries of end-user. Preparation of end-user training document.
- Acquaint oneself with the latest developments in the field of Costing, Finance, Taxation, SAP, reporting tools & have an ability to apply this knowledge in solving business issues in a practical way.
