Job Description
JOb Responsibilities: You will be in charge of technical management of highly visible, cross cutting, cross functional data and analytics program. To do well in the role, i t will be crucial to work with our multifunctional engineering, security and project management teams, from initiation to production ready. The ideal candidate has a strong technically foundation in data, analytics and cloud, and is comfortable with ambiguity and excited to develop, drive and lead these highly visible programs.
Some of the key activities include:
- Develop resource and sequencing plans to oversee large scale IT projects
- Coordinate sub-projects/tasks among vendor and internal resources
- Maintain and prioritize list of issues affecting project and pro-actively assuring their resolution through appropriate party (e.g., data architect, cloud architect, software/hardware vendor, System Integrator)
- Create project reporting (e.g., status updates, reviews) and deliver presentations indicating progress reports
- Evaluate and create review documents for changes to project scope
- Perform program risk assessment and assist in evaluating and identifying controls for the risks.
- Maintainand closely monitor the program risk management plan
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of relevant IT experience, though not necessarily in an IT/Engineering role)
- 5+ years of experience in technical management of multiple projects in some capacity
- Proficient in the governance framework and management skills for both projects and programs
- Strong skills in senior stakeholder management, as well as procurement and contract negotiations across the program.
- Broad working knowledge of enterprise level functional domains
- Working knowledge of cloud, data, and enterprise architecture, application lifecycle management, and traditional and agile software development methodology
- Agile/Digital Experience - Understands relationship between use case owners, and rest of the team, with a strong sense of design thinking. Experience managing large initiatives across cross functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate and optimize design based on the value to the user and the business, lead ideation sessions and workshops
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
- Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines
