Roles and Responsibilities
The position is responsible for embedding HR strategy and provide professional HR support, guidance and service with aim to add value to SSC organization and building strong relationships to provide a customer focussed and highly effective HR service.
- Implementing HR strategy to ensure the service and people goals are met and in line with SSC objectives.
- Ensure & submit monthly HR MIS to SSC Director.
- Handle entire life cycle HR Operations of employees.

- Timely MIS Reports
- Manage headcount planning and support Talent Acquisition team in selection of new employees.
- Perform Background verification processes to ensure the right selection of candidates.
- Participate in the interviews and support preparation of salary proposals and appointment letter documentation.
- Work with Global Managers to ensure implementation of an induction program for new team members.
- Follow and assess the probation period together with Managers.
- Conduct exit interviews, providing feedback to management when necessary.

- Partner with Global Compensation & Benefit team to benchmark salaries of SSC roles aligning to the market as per global policy.
- Conduct job evaluation/banding of all SSC roles on a yearly basis as per policy.
- Maintain & update pay ranges of bands on a regular basis.
- Ensure that employee records incl salary are maintained up to date in WorkDay to support Global HR processes.
- Partner with Global Managers to support effective implementation of Annual Merit and performance bonus processes.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly payroll processes without errors.
- Handle all employee statutory benefits & insurances on a timely basis.
- Handle all statutory compliances as required.
- Ensure time & attendance data is kept up to date to support legal requirements under the Shop Act.
- Ensure employee files/records are maintained accurately.
- Renew Shop Act license on annual basis & maintain good relationships with Govt. Labour office.
- Timely & accurate completion of monthly payroll process
- Zero deviation on statutory compliances
- Accurate implementation of Annual Merit & Bonus processes.
- Maintain & update competency framework of SSC employees on a regular basis.
- Partner with Global T&D team member for identification of training needs and facilitate the running of various training programmes where required.
- Support the talent management and succession planning process.
- Plan & implement any key customized team building/training programs as required for SSC.
- Maintain metrics/records related to T&D initiatives/programs.
- Implement & Monitor Performance Improvement Plans as required.

- Support employees & Managers in Goal setting & Performance Management process in line with Global policy.
- Support & train employees & Managers on the Goal Setting/PMS process in WorkDay as required.

- Provide expertise, guidance and direction on Employee relations issues, including upkeep of Core Values/Behaviours of Alkegen & effective employee grievance redressals.

- Partner with India HR Head/SSC Manager/Global HR Team as necessary in developing, administrating and/or evaluating HR policies, employment contracts, programs & procedures. Recommend for improvement as & when needed.
