Job Purpose:
The Sales Officer is responsible for growth of the sub-category in Udaan. The intent is also to build relationships with brands to create a win win experience for both Udaan and the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Officer will be responsible for upto 13 BDE (Business Development Executive) and will report directly to the Demand/Supply Lead.
- Drive monthly targets through the team of BDE: GMV (In INR), Number of New --Buyer On-boarding, Number of Buyers per day etc. drives sales across FMCG & Staples,
- Drives buyer app education and enables organic buying and range selling
- Divides & cascades target among his team members as per pin codes and enables focused beat execution
- Helps BDEs to resolve market related queries and helps in the BDE/MDE be more effective in their daily routine - prep, buyer visit and review
- Train and Coach his team of BDE for maximizing productivity
- Handles 2nd level escalation for buyer related issues and tracks GMV, reach, productivity and range selling as the primary measures by BDE and ensures enough help and support provided to the BDE to be able to deliver them
- Co-ordinates with Operations team for delivery & payment related issues, in case of escalation so that RTOs are reduced and are maintained within target
- Co-ordinates with supply team for best price & portfolio gap in his area
Qualifications and Experience:
BA/ B. Com + 4 to 8 years, MBA Fresher
Has experience in team building/ team leading roles
Has grown through his /her career working at various levels in business development profiles
