Job Purpose/Overview
This position is ensuring the leadership of the Supply technical team. It plays a key role in PUNE strategy delivery. The job purpose is to:
Ensure all assets are capable of delivering as per reliability and TRS targets
Manage the effective delivery of the CAB budget for the Chocolate business in India and the Pune site
Drive the future development of the site and continuous improvement of layout, assets and technical capabilities
Manage Maintenance and Utilities for the site, as well as manage Engineering resources for the site and within the India Supply network
Key Responsibilities
Engage all technical (Maintenance and engineering) associates into site strategy delivery
Ensure proper engagement of team
Manage & develop technical associates and implement WOW that secure and accelerate results delivery
Deliver Maintenance KPI at agreed TRS level in the agreed budget discussed during OP time
Ensure availabilities at all moment of utilities
Use the FMOS principles to drive overall functional efficiency by being properly connected to other operational teams
Is the guardian of asset availability all year long and appropriate management of spare parts and contracts
Guaranty excellence in each project execution, applying with rigor and discipline Lean and FMOS principles. Covers the small minor projects and can potentially support major projects delivered by the regional engineering team
Align assets strategy to site strategy by developing and maintain the site Master plan. Drive the strategic layout to move towards to a lean factory and play a pro active role in site & Chocolate India CAB definition/management and development in collaboration with site IE and regional engineering team
Manage the Engineering resources to support Pune activities as well as coordinate resources across Supply India (3 sites) as needed.
As a member of the Factory Management team, contribute to all activities that will drive the factory towards its future. Support & develop cross functional ways of working & line of one mindset & approach.
Demonstrate exemplarity and push down in the organization the lean principles & lean behavior for all managers.
Context and Scope
The position has 4 direct reports (Maintenance Manager, Utility Manager and two Engineers) positions reporting to it, with indirectly a mix of associates on shift and on days.
The operational part of the job follows the MSE principles and refer to the signature processes that have been established at Global level.
The position is part of the PUNE Factory Management Team, and reports to the India Supply Director. It has a strong dotted line to the PUNE VSM Manager and is in tight connect with the India Engineering Manager.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualifications Food Industry or engineering degree
Knowledge / Experience 10 years minimum experience in supply function and a minimum of 5 years in technical function
