Role Description
We are steering the video industry by building the Enterprise RDK (eRDK) stack for Video
and Broadband managed solutions for operators who want to securely deploy a nextgeneration experience and maintain control of their devices and data. We have a
spectacular opportunity for a Technical Project Manager in Chennai, India to manage eRDK
customers programs with some of the leading Internet and Video service providers across
the world.
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who wields a robust appetite and
tenacious grit for learning, building, and collaborating. Embarking on a journey alongside a
widespread colony of about 2,200 employees, you are expected to collaborate with a
plethora of internal teams from India, UK, Israel, Canada, US and others all over the globe.
Youll also be expected to collaborate with internal teams and external 3rd party partners
to deliver end to end eRDK solutions for our customers. Hence, strong communication and
documentation skills are exceptionally vital in this role.
As a Technical Program Manager, using your entrepreneurial spirit and acumen, you will
lead multi-disciplinary engineering and cross department projects from early concept
through requirements, development, technical and sales readiness, to market delivery. You
will manage 3rd party partners and their deliveries into the overall project. You will manage
project schedules, identify and clearly communicate risks to stakeholders, help resolve
issues, and provide readouts to senior management. The candidate will possess excellent
hands on technical and communication skills with a proven track record of delivering
positive results.
Responsibilities
• Drive software engineering coordination and execution focused towards delivering
eRDK products and solutions.
• Manage partners and complex dependencies aimed at achieving business objectives.
• Communicate project updates and risks with stakeholders and management• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Product, Engineering, development,
infrastructure, and services in developing project schedules, milestones, and risk
analyses.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage, track and control project issues to ensure
timely delivery of products.
• Develop reports to track planning, scheduling, issues, risks and overall status.
• Schedule, host and lead internal and external meetings, track and bring to closure action
items, manage project schedules, and identify, communicate and mitigate project risks.
Desired Skills and Experiences
• BS or Masters degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in a similar role.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in technical project/program management
• 3+ years of Microsoft Project experience
• 3+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking and documenting projects
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience hosting and leading internal and external meetings, creating and driving
meeting agendas, taking notes and managing actions
• Experience tracking and translating software engineering discussions into actionable
engineering tasks and next steps
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and strong analytical skills with proven results
• Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies, and their relevance
and relationship to the project and marketplace
• Ability to understand complex project dependencies and manage risk
• Ability to work well and exert influence as a member of a highly integrated team
composed of both technical and non-technical members
• Ability to demonstrate strong communication, exploration dialog, interpersonal and
organizational skills
• Customer facing skills
