Roles and Responsibilities
Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Head that can share the company’s vision with the world. We are looking for an experienced manager to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for setting up a distribution network and sales structure for the relevant markets.
Responsibilities:
Product & Category Understanding
- Understanding of compostable/Biodegradable product packaging
- Clear understanding of food service industry (QSR,Street food etc)
- Has exististing relationships with QSRs and Horeca
Excellence in Sales
- Ability to develop a clear strategic long term and short term plan
- Ability, skill and attitude towards achievement of set targets
- Ability to drive sales process from planning to closure
Profitable Growth
- Consistent achievement and growth in profitability for their assigned region.
- Ability to understand and ensure profitability for each product, partner and customer
- Positioning ability and ensuring optimum pricing in marketplace
Strong distribution network
- Ability to identify partners in alignment with values and business acumen for the assigned territory if required
- Ability to add Retailers/Resellers/Dealers for the assigned territory and grow the numbers month on month and improving sales.
- Ability to serve partners efficiently- Partner first approach
Deep customer relationship and delight creation
- Ability to form deep, personal relationships for customer retention and nurturing including partners/retailers
- Ability for quick resolution of customer grievances and to seize moment of truth
- Building of transparency and ease of doing business for customers
Technology building and data based decision making
- Ability to take key decisions supported through DSS
- Ability to be able to create comparatives and clear dashboards enabling decisions
- Clear understanding of functioning of IT systems and ability to guide requirements
Clarity on market trends and competitive landscape understanding
- Ability to clearly forecast trends based on objective data analysis and market understanding
- Deep understanding of competition, abilities and plans forward
- Clear understanding of regional developments both micro and macro effecting future business
New product identification, development and introduction
- Understanding of needs & complete product space in the compostable food services and identification of customer desire
- Ability to introduce, convince and excite market about new products and be able to shift customers
- Ability to understand market movements and advise product development for future innovations
Brand promotion and alignment
- Ability to coordinate and build synchronisation with marketing to ensure efficacy in implementation
- Ensuring adherence to brand norms and effective training of team and partners
- Clear understanding of the brand ethos and its application
