Overview
We are looking for a talented professional to enhance the Market & Competitive Intelligence team within Exela.
This role will be responsible for tracking market developments, gathering intelligence on competitors, and staying up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in the Business Process Automation space. Collaborating with all functional areas of the company to be able to contribute to different business and strategy requirements, design and build dashboards and reports, and provide analysis on internal sales/marketing data.
This position requires familiarity with Enterprise software and being able to piece together individual pieces to see the big picture.
Market Analyst Responsibilities
- 2-5 years of business experience, preferably in Enterprise Software
- 1-2+ years track record of responsibility in managing and supporting projects
- Ability to create concise and succinct reports and presentations for use by Management, Marketing, Sales and Technology teams
- Demonstrated ability to take a business problem from definition through analysis and on to recommendations
- Solid presentation development and delivery skills
- Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate as part of a global virtual team and also work independently, including blending of diverse feedback from various stakeholders
- Responsive, organized, able to handle strategic and ad-hoc projects concurrently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional international teams as well as external vendors
- BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
Market Analyst Key Requirements
- Provide reports for business analysis could be via industry, geography, technology or market opportunity
- Wrangle data to extract meaningful insights from various data sources – e.g. industry analysts, technology analysts, SEC statements, secondary research etc.
- Handle the many facets of the Intelligence program: design, maintain and promote the internal portal
- Work effectively across the organization with all relevant functional areas – be willing to jump in and take action on time sensitive requests
- Engage and collaborate with product management and product marketing to shape new products that align with customer needs
- Combine business and technical knowledge to develop executive recommendations
