Job Description
Assignment:
The Supply Planner is the logistic core competence in purchasing teams working in close cooperation with Buyer and Product Developer in the Purchasing Category teams and together with other stakeholders (internal & external).
The Supply Planner takes the leadership in purchasing team on achieving full customer perceived availability at lowest landed cost and constantly looking for business improvements towards these goals. The Supply Planner is responsible to ensure supplier has goods ready in time in order to fulfil Sobha and customers need.
Your tasks will include:
- Act as the first point of contact for concerned products in supply & order issues across the organization.
- Work in close cooperation with external/internal stakeholders proactively to avoid shortages in
stores and act to correct any deviations.
- Support store team during the Product Change Process in the stores
- Support in the opening of new stores, stores re-location / rebuild and other sales channels
- Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned by Sobha
- Drive PO management / MIS reports / website information / price release with Costing teams before
website uploading
- Follow-up, analyze and take actions to continuously improve supplier delivery performance and assure
goods are shipped in time from suppliers.
- Identify, implement and maintain the best logistical offer at the sales place from suppliers by working
actively with replenishment solutions, lead times to make sure goods reaching the store with lowest
possible cost.
- Daily troubleshooting and at the same time find solutions to avoid similar future problems

Qualifications: Graduate preferred
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
- 3-5 years supply chain experience preferably related to order management
- Proven skills in MS Office (intermediate level of Access & Excel) package
- SAP experience preferred
- Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are an asset
- University degree / diploma in related field

- Strong knowledge of Supply chain logistics including different replenishment, delivery
solutions and inventory management
- Good understanding of capacity planning, Supplier Logistics, transportation and purchasing.
