ROLE:
The Strategy & Operations team is seeking a Sales Strategy & Operations Lead to work closely with the Ad Sales & Brand Solutions leadership. This role will play an integral role in leading, optimizing, and scaling sales operations and planning processes (e.g. sales reporting, building sales territories, and setting sales targets). You will leverage your strategic mindset, analytical, and strong stakeholder management skills to optimize and scale our direct ad sales business.
The role is highly visible across the company and in particular to the senior leadership of JioSaavn. The position will be based in our Mumbai or Gurgaon office.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing critical daily, weekly, monthly reporting for the sales organization and presenting key insights and actionable steps for sales leadership and senior management
Modeling and forecasting sales trends to help sales leadership with developing targets and strategic decision-making
Driving relevant analyses that uncover insights about the ad sales business, and present findings to senior management
Maintaining and continually evaluating the effectiveness of systems and processes for the sales team, suggesting data-driven improvements when applicable
Leading annual and quarterly sales strategy and planning for the Sales team by providing data-driven recommendations (e.g. customer segmentation, headcount, financial and territory planning, quota setting)
Coordinating ads teams to execute against high-value strategic initiatives (e.g. forecasting, process improvement and automation, sales incentive design/compensation strategy, dashboard development for KPI monitoring)
Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders in other advertising teams (ad platform, operations, marketing) and cross-functional teams (such as data, finance, HR, product, marketing, content, etc.)
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in a sales or sales operations role within a technology business
Preference for Sales Strategy, Sales Execution, Management Consulting
Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus
Superb analytical skills, technical aptitude, and attention to detail
Experience working with extracting data and reports from Salesforce.com
