Located across key markets including LATAM, India and EMEA, the Global Studio supports a variety of high priority projects and global initiatives, delivering insights to ensure we build the best experience for all our users around the world.
About the Role:
As a Product Designer on Uber for Business (U4B), your number one job is to solve user problems. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and UX researchers to iterate and build a usable, useful and delightful experience that your team can launch. Youll engage across all stages of a project, using your skills in concepting, prototyping, service design, information design, workshop facilitation, and user research. As a T-shaped designer, you have at least one area youre expert in, but can handle a broad range of tasks from preparing assets for engineers to leading sprints.
What youll do:
Collaborate with your cross-functional team to create high-quality design solutions for your product.
Build wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs based on our UI framework to tackle difficult UX problems Design systems to make simple, elegant experiences based on our complex logistics and machine learning technology Present work in a range of mediums and fidelities throughout the design process. Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality.
What youll need:
5 years of design experienceProficiency with the latest tools to build design and a strong desire to learn new ones. Figma expertise encouraged. Effective prototyping skills Experience building products for Android, iOS, and web Fast-paced with the ability to prioritize projects concurrently Strong understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles
. Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment. Ability to strongly articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team. A degree in HCI, Graphic Design, or related field is preferred. A portfolio showing your high quality, thoughtful UI and UX work
