Your level of responsibility will entail that you work on the brief given to you by the category team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing for the briefed clusters and developing new styles, prints and garments.
Ability to conceptualize design ideas based on market opportunities & customer needs with real time and futuristic trend analysis & forecasting abilities
In depth understanding of technical aspects of product development – Fabrics, patterns, trends, styling and construction, etc. - in Women’s Wear- Athliesure, Sportswear & Active Outdoor Apparel
Creating sketches based on seasonal concepts and rendering the same with appropriate color/prints
Maintaining line sheets for seasonal range plans
Responsible for creating detailed techpacks that illustrate design and construction details with high accuracy
Collaborate with Buying and Sourcing teams for effective design development
Conduct fitting sessions in collaboration with Tech team
Fabric/print/surface design follow up and approvals
Execute timely on seasonal calendar deadlines
Contributing well researched ideas to support catalog and marketing for the brand.
Qualifications & Experience
1-3 years’ experience and Grad/Post-grad from NIFT/FMS
Demonstrates high level aesthetics and creative ability with a strong understanding of Active lifestyle and sports culture.
Well rounded experience in Womenswear design specific to Athliesure & Sports category.
Exhibits personal interest in areas of active, sports and fitness lifestyle. (Optional)
Strong organisational skills and highly detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - verbal. written and visual
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendars
Ability to handle work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and engage with senior leadership
High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
