The Role
For our office at Bangalore in India, where the culture is casual, social, and international, we are looking for Research Analyst who is an enthusiastic graduate with exceptional analytical and writing skills with a strong interest in management consulting. Work experience in publishing houses focused on scientific research is a bonus. The role will be focused on working with our team of experts and clients to harness the power of data through DT’s solution suite; leveraging our assessments and benchmarking data to provide tailored insights into critical aspects of our client’s digital and customer experience transformation efforts. Supporting the development of strategies that use these insights to make the right decisions and get on track to achieve top performance .Due to the variety of clients and the challenges we help our clients solve, every day will be different, from analyzing data sets & creating client deliverables to supporting our internal thought leadership & enhancing / creating new offerings.

RESEARCH ANALYST- DT CONSULTING
Role and Responsibilities
A. When collecting and analyzing data you are expected to have:
1. An ability to design questionnaires and advise on data collection methodologies.
2. An ability to monitor the progress of data collection
3. An ability to collect data and assimilate statistics using statistical software
4. A strong , logical and analytical mindset
5. An ability to notice pattern within statistics
6. Make recommendations based on the data collected
7. Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
8. Evaluate program methodology and key data, to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
9. An ability to identify, structure and store the data in a way that it can be harnessed forgoing/future research and commercial projects
10. Document all data and research procedures
B. When developing client deliverables you are expected to have:
1. Accuracy with a methodical approach to work
2. Incredible attention to detail
3. Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills
4. An ability to create detailed reports of both qualitative and quantitative findings
5. Good PowerPoint skills with an ability to simplify findings into visually appealing
Presentations
C. When supporting business development /thought leadership/operations team, you are expected to have:
1. Commercial awareness
2. An ability to evaluate on overarching program approach to ensure that a project and any key methodologies, timelines, milestones or deliverables are appropriate for the overall goal of the project.
3. Effectively and proactively communicate with team members and provide project management support where/when required
Background
Three to six years’ experience in an applied research or data management environment;experience in IT, economics, business/systems analysis, quality assurance, or relevant position
Able to manipulate large, complex data sets using a variety of software applications (SPSS,SAS, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite), including the use of relational databases
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, version control, document management and reference management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts and information in a logical and concise manner
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent analytical skills with a balanced approach to problem-solving, using flexibility and persistence as appropriate
Dedicated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and be open to new ideas
Self-motivated to work independently on projects
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, business, IT, management,
administration, economics, or information science
