Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar Site Construction In charge to oversee the construction activities of solar energy projects at the site level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, including site preparation, foundation installation, mounting structure assembly, and solar panel installation.
- Ensure compliance with design plans, quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to identify and address any deviations or deficiencies.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Monitor construction progress, productivity, and expenditures to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Identify and resolve construction-related issues, conflicts, and challenges in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address concerns or inquiries related to the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred).
- 9-10 years of experience in solar energy project construction management.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage construction teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
