Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research on licensing requirements for processing cross border payments, prepare a detailed report on the cost, effort and resources required for licenses in important geographies
- Work on a strategy for mitigating risk associated with cross border transactions
- Support the sales teams
- Act as a first touch point for all new Razorpay. clients coming through various inbound lead sources and qualify a certain volume of leads on a daily basis
- Ensure reach out to 100% of assigned leads within TAT
- Understand potential client s requirement over a call/email, quickly identify pain points and use cases, evaluate intent and urgency, generate interest and propose a suitable solution
- Search for additional Customer Information on client s online presence
- Move leads to the next stage based on the call outcome and/or set up product walkthroughs & demos for Core sales team
- Acknowledge all emails from customers on time and respond suitably
- Use sales tools effectively and update CRM properly on time
- Work with other cross-functional teams as and when required.
- Help us run experiments/campaigns and measure quality and potential of new lead sources/channels
- Track if all qualified leads are handled/demos are given by core sales team as per SLA/TAT
- In case of leads unavailability, help with outbound cold calls/campaigns planned by management
- Maintaining a healthy sales conversion ratio along with the core sales team.
- Coordinate on merchant queries, clarification needs and support required for pre-sales activation and/or onboarding whenever required
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong Analytical Skills
- 0 - 2 years of Inside sales/pre-sales experience in SaaS or equivalent B2B setup.
- Should have basic understanding of sales tools and CRM.
- Strong communication skills, oral & written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
- Should have worked on understanding customer requirements, identifying pain points and probing to understand how their business currently works.
- Should be adaptive and motivated to learn new technology and skills
- Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in the Fintech space/Payments industry would be an added advantage
