Job Description

The Role requires the complete end-to-end handling of the Process Engineering vertical which is one of the key differentiators in terms of process adherence and quality consciousness at Radiant. The incumbent will be required to handhold, drive and monitor NPI (New Product Introduction), Process Engineering, Equipment testing on the production lines and R & D on a daily basis. He will handle the complete team and take end to end responsibility of the complete functioning of the vertical in coordination with Production and Quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The preparation of the golden sample including making and testing. Ensuring that the work instruction is prepared based on this
• Ensure that the SOP & WI preparation of new model are ready beforehand.
• Report and work instruction submission to production beforehand so that they can be produced as per standard SOP
• The process should be set as per WI on line. Ensures line readiness
• New Product Introduction (NPI) - identification of critical to quality (CTQ) & critical to process (CTP) stages is done
• Management of the workforce for readiness and understanding of the process for the model to be assembled
• BOM (Bill of materials) readiness has to be ensured
• Preparation of raw material sheet and Line balancing
• Time study beforehand so that the production adheres to the timelines
• SAP data management (New model - add BOM, routing, standard work hours to it ).
• Maintaining all documentation for the product(WI, SOP, Artworks, product specs,etc.)
• Responsible for handling process issues on daily basis. Gives corrective action and solutions
• Responsible for stage modification, Engineering change notice (ECN) and Process change notice (PCN)
• Ensures to minimize the operating cost
• Revision controlling of all product documentation to be done
• Responsible for Process capability, Process improvements, workflow management and process flow chart.
• Knowledge of 5S Activity.
• Knowledge of Kaizens.
• Ensure smooth shift handover and coordination between teams working in multiple shifts
• Ensure that there is no communication gap with the team, CFTs before and after PP and MP is initiated.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate must have exhibited demonstrated performance in an Engineering/R&D/PE/Testing role in the TV Manufacturing Industry. He must have experience of working under pressure and have consistently delivered on targets and numbers throughout his career. Experience of working with/for reputed electronics brands would be an added advantage.
