Job Description
ROLE
The Partnerships Manager will focus on creating partnerships with universities and organizations in India while maintaining the account management and support of current partnerships.
An average day will include prospecting, following up with leads, writing and compiling full proposals, supporting referral partners in confirming new students, and preparing to deliver a session at a future virtual conference while collating the contact list for post-session follow-up.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business development duties (40%):
Lead Nurturing and Development
- Manage a portfolio of pending university/organizational partner programs; overseeing strategy for finalizing programs with potential partner institutions
- Establish new university partner leads through direct outreach, conferences, and networking
- Develop, conduct, and evaluate campaigns to initiate contact with new institutions across their designated region
New Program Development
- Operate as a consultant on the establishment of new programs to university partner contacts as they navigate the creation of virtual internship programs on campus
- Conduct campaigns to grow relationships with new departments and contacts laterally across campus
Contract Renewals
- Ensure lateral growth within your university expanding the program to new faculty or departments
- Strive to build a working relationship with your university contacts in order to create a stronger and more targeted recruitment pipeline
- Deliver contract renewals by ensuring positive program support and negotiating contracts, program fees, and inclusions
Account Management (40%)
Partnership Support
- Manage a portfolio of university programs spanning a variety of program models including standard, custom, and partial services programs.
- Collaborate with university partners to plan the logistics of each program
- Directly communicate any troubleshooting or concerns and create POAs and clear communication plans to reconcile.
Marketing and Communications
- Work with digital teams and marketing colleagues to create co-branded marketing materials for custom programs
- Support thought-leadership and development by delivering webinars and sessions about Virtual Internships
General Tasks (20%)
- Market research
- Data management in our CRM system
- Support of Partnerships team on global projects
- Support of data pulling and collating for regional partnerships team
- Ad hoc projects for regional headquarters
