Job Description
The credit manager position will be accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordination with Relationship (Client Acquisition)Team to gather financial data and documents of clients
- Conducting a thorough analysis before sanctioning loan amount and ensuring compliance with organization
- Visit client office for personal discussion to understand the business model before lending loan credit
- Prepare final Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM) as per policy and discuss same with Head of Department (HOD)
- Addressing the concern raised by Head of Department & Credit Committee, if any
- Compiling MIS on credit findings and queries raised by field audit report
- Checking of Credit Information Report (CIR) of clients from other Banks and Financial Institutes
- Conducting on sight Due-Diligence
- To train, mentor and coach team members with respect to credit policy and processes
- Maintain cordial relationship with other departments, manage queries and support other miscellaneous initiatives
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: Chartered Accountant
Experience : Minimum 4 to 7 Years in (Corporate funding/ wholesale funding/NBFC Funding)
Excellent communication and quantitative skills.
Very good command over verbal and written English.
