Job Description
Requirement is for the position of Project Lead for Application Production support role.
The person should have worked in the Finance domain.
Deep understanding of Incident Management, Problem management, Release management, BCP/DR, Knowledge management, Capacity management & Service request.
Should have worked closely with the mid management & business users.
Technical Skills
Strong in Unix, Oracle & Java.
Good understanding of Linux server, network, firewall.
Should have worked on ticketing tool like Service Now or BMC Remedy or HPSM.
Should have experience in using application monitoring tool.
Should have experience in using job scheduler like ControlM or Autosys.
Delivery Skills
Good problem solving skill.
Prioritize the work & provide status update to the senior manager.
Track the multiple issues and provide status update to the senior manager.
Effective Incident Ticket analysis to reduce the incident.
Preparing daily & weekly reports.
Reduce the manual efforts of team by driving automation
Identify the opportunity for automation to bring improvement.
ITIL process oriented.
Challenge the status quo
Should have handled multiple applications.
Ensure the ticket quality is of highest standard.
To ensure that SLA is met & there are no breaches.
Ensure that enough coverage in all shifts & adhoc adjustment whenever required.
Plan & execute the BCP/DR activities.
Planning & execution of business user demanded activities.
Keep the application & server inventory up to date.
Ensure all SOP & application related documents are up to date.
Identify the application or project risk and mitigate the risk.
Ensure no compliance or audit related issues.
Softskill
Good in written & verbal communication
Handled a team size of minimum 15.
Help team members to resolve the technical challenges faced & day to day issues faced.
Effectively work with different stake holders like Dev team, Business team, Infra team, Security team.
Motivate the team members.
Identify the training need of the team members & arrange the training.
Performance evaluation of the team members.
