Roles and Responsibilities
1. Development, Implementation and Upgrading of Environmental Management System (EMS), Occupational Health, Safety systems in the Organization
2. Ensuring Time bound check of all Personnel for Medical condition & fitness depending on their exposure to risk at Work place to ensure Health of personnel in the Organization
3. Ensuring the Availability, Use & Maintenance of Safety equipments including but not limited to Fire Hydrant, Water Sprinklers, Smoke Detectors, Alarms/ Buzzers, PPE, Fire Extinguishers, Ambulance
4. Conduct Safety Audits as per Plan to identify Gaps related to Safety & ensure time bound action for closure of the gaps
5. Conduct regular Training of Safety Team, Fire Fighters, First Aiders
6. Conduct Mock Drills as per plan related to Fire, Earthquake, Medical, Electrical emergency
7. Maintain Safety related Records
8. Prepare full Incidence Report related any mis-happening inside the plant with analysis for Root Cause & Countermeasure
9. Create Safety Awareness inside the plant through but not limited to, organization of Training, Workshops, Drills
10. Face and comply with Safety requirements of Customers or Legal bodies
11. Meeting all Legal and Legislative requirements related to Health & Safety
12. Knowledge of Factory Act 1948, ESIC Act 1948, Employee Compensation Act 1923
