Roles and Responsibilities
1. Main scope of corrective maintenance/ breakdown maintenance to be carried out along with fault finding measures.
2. Place an order for replacement parts as required by customer and check the status until they are delivered to the customer on needed basis.
3. When performing maintenance at a customer's place, and if required by the customer, check products after shipment, and if it is deemed necessary to either replace or repair the parts, inform the customer about it. In that case, prepare a report of the product check result for the customer.
4. If there will be repair work at a customer's place after product shipment, based on requirement need to visit to customer place and attend the fault and report to superior.
5. After product shipment, manage defect content and repair content before and after commercial operation, and after that, take measures to avoid similar situation in cooperation with the manager QA.
6. Need to perform any replacement activity practically at any depot site based on requirment and maintain records and report to superior. After any work done at train level, need to perform fitness of train and handover to concern members with proper communication.
7. If there is any repair work at a customer's place after product shipment, create operation manual and field work check sheet and submit them to the customer.
8. If a customer requires field testing, based on instructions need to perform it and submit report.
9. Confirm the address to send spare parts and ship them, and confirm the address to send back repaired items and send them back.
10. Need to prepare daily work report and submit to superior.
11. Based on customers' charters, create a report about customer complaint handling and repair service.
12. Based on customers' charters, create a report about the result of field activities using investigation report.
13. Work schedule will be decided based on customer requirement on roaster basis.
14. Coordination with depot team members and manage the trouble shooting activities.
15. Work with staff members (Production, Field service) to check processes for spare parts for replacement and items returned for repair.
16. Create and maintain a business trip manual for field work at a customer's place.
17. After completion of field work or field test, and after gaining approval from the customer, immediately make arrangement to collect parts and equipment, and collect them from the customer.
18. If an abnormality occurs after product shipment, hold an emergency meeting as per the procedure.
19. Any other additional duties that might be instructed by immediate superior which is within the employee capacity and capabilities.
20. Management may, at its discretion, assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Desired:
1. Must be from rolling stock background and worked in Metro Rail (train) related field service/maintenance (Electrical Components)
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in the similar field.
3. Willing to work in shift and attend complaints round the clock.
4. Hands on experience in servicing/maintenance of equipment such as traction motor, static converter (VVVF) auxiliary converter etc.,
