Job Description
Level 2 messaging admin - hands on experience on O365 and SFB/Teams requirement, who can handle the SFB and Teams issues.
• Hands on experience on maintaining Office 365 and Skype for Business/Teams solutions that focus on workflow, document management, and content creation for web-focused business teams.
• Hands on administration experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud technologies, such as, Azure, OneDrive, Yammer, SharePoint Teams, Skype Audio Conferencing.
• Stays up to date on O365 changes MS releases around each O365 product including Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint, etc.
• Provide technical expertise, strategic planning / governance, and recommendation for managing and exploiting Office 365 to meet business needs.
• Develop and manage a governance model for Office 365 changes / services with projects and other Microsoft Online Services such as Azure, Azure Active Directory and other SAAS services.
• Provide support for Office 365 services and develop workload mappings between business processes and collaboration services.
• Handles activities around O365 licensing, experience in managing user access and counts.
• Develop, Maintain and update O365 governance documentation with O365 product owners.
• Maintain PowerShell scripts used to manage\support the O365 environment for multiple apps--Azure, SharePoint, Groups.
• Partners with IT and other workgroups for the integration of applications that support Office 365 solutions.
• Provides training on O365 solution offerings, as well as IT orientation and security training.
• Provides system support and maintains uptime as defined within the IT acceptable standards.
• Performs application maintenance, e.g. system parameters, user permissions, etc.
• Addresses production issues experienced by O365 users.
• Maintain the O365 Online infrastructure (Dev, Test, and Production & Disaster Recovery).
Skills:
• Candidate should have a solid knowledge and experience on Office 365, Skype for Business/Teams management and troubleshooting, for Clients/users spread globally.
• Candidate should be aware and experienced in Exchange Hybrid 2010/2013 concepts and features such as High Availability DAG, Clustering, Disaster Recovery, Auto-discover, Backups, Transport & Routing, etc.
• Exchange-based messaging and collaboration availability and security; including those involving user accounts, shared folders/calendars, mailing lists, and Outlook Web Access.
• Perform technical administrative tasks daily to ensure the stability and availability of Exchange servers, troubleshooting server, mail routing and replication related issues.
• Responsible to implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure Exchange server security through secure access & monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations.
• Experience supporting Lync 2010/2013, Skype for Business and MS Teams.
• Manage Exchange database(s), antivirus applications, messaging filtering, and error log tracking.
• Experience in supporting Exchange Active Sync (EAS) infrastructure through MDM products such as Blackberry, Good Mobile. To ensure successful mail & calendar sync on device.
• Proven experience with Operations and Process control knowledge, such as ITIL and Six Sigma concepts.
• Candidate will be responsible for Change Management activities such as Exchange/OS upgrades, monthly Windows patching activities, etc.
• Experience in maintaining systems in a virtual environment.
• Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in an environment of rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment.
• A team player with ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
