Your role: An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the company as Associate Solution Architect in SAP WM/EWM (all genders). SAP WM/EWM Solution Architect has the responsibility of architecting and designing complex warehousing processes for different Merck warehouses across the globe along with the Business, Business Process Architects, Functional Analysts and other stakeholders. This position will have the ability to clearly understand the business requirements and our SAP ecosystem. High degree of passion towards customer centricity is a must for this position. A strong understanding of SAP core technologies and ability to work with peers in this area is needed.
Job Functions:
Capture, Understand, Review the current Merck Warehouse Processes
Work in Designing, Building and Developing SAP WM/EWM ecosystem to support all functions of business in supply chain logistics execution as per overall strategy set by the management.
Good working knowledge and expertise in the area or ERP Distribution & Logistics.
Good knowledge on the integration of WM/EWM with other SAP modules viz., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP QM etc.
Co-ordinate with Merck Business and Business Facing IT across the globe to capture the warehouse distribution requirements for the current SAP Project.
Proven ability to understand the business processes of the organization and the core application environments.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Good to have:
Good know-how on EWM<->TM integration
ABAP Debugging skills
Who you are:
Bachelor's Degree
Masters or special certification preferred in SAP related areas
Minimum of 7 Years' experience in a progressive responsibility expanding capability with focus in area of warehouse management and execution function in an environment supporting SAP ecosystem
Life science, Chemicals or Healthcare industry knowledge preferred
Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of IT Organization
Ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
Business-fluent English skills. Good Problem Solving and Communication skills
Must have at least 5 years of working on warehouse operations running on SAP WM/EWM
Must have experience of working on an SAP WM/EWM and/or SAP LE system
Tactical Thinking and ability to execute successfully
Wide degree of functional skills and creativity is expected
