Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Single point contact for both Prebid and Post Bid MEP design of HVAC, Fire Fighting and water system for the PV solar projects.
2. Develop design memos and calculation for MEP related design based on the relevant standards, local codes and site conditions meeting the client/developer specification.
3. Preparation of basic design and drawings, tender specifications and bill of quantity, tender evaluation and discussion with vendor to technically finalise the vendor for executing the MEP works on turnkey basis.
4. Co-ordinate with Design and Engineering lead meeting the project engineering timeline.
Replying to Client/ Owners Engineers design and engineering quarries during the post bid execution.
KNOWLEDGE
Well versed with HVAC design and sizing calculation using relevant software, codes and standards. Well versed with NFPA guidelines for firefighting and protection for Building and equipment. Water system design for both fire fighting and potable and service water requirements in solar plants. Autocad skills will be added advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS
Full time graduate in mechanical engineering

8 to 12 years

- Ability to prepare estimates and budgets with a high degree of accuracy

- Ability to quickly understand the basics of a variety of subjects relating to Solar energy, including civil and electrical engineering designs and detailed drawings, purchase orders and change orders, construction related processes, environmental and cultural studies, transmission issues, taxes, finance and energy sales
- Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
