Job Description
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on Oracle EBS
- Hands on Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Architecture and technical aspects of Oracle Applications
- Highly self-motivated, detail oriented and committed individual with an ability to take up initiatives and execute tasks with full ownership and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction.
- Good functional knowledge of any two modules of Oracle Applications from GL, AP, AR, FA, SLA, CE, iProcurement, and iExpenses is must.
- Deriving resolution of application problems/issues predominantly in Procure to pay cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones
- Supporting key business processes/activities including Month end and Year end support activities to Business users.
- Partners with business and technology managers to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements.
- Proficient in writing Functional Design Documents
- Experience in mapping business requirements, gap analysis and preparation of Functional/Technical Design documents
- Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution and anticipates and prevents problems before they occur.
- Regularly ensuring good health of production systems and data integrity with upstream/downstream systems
- Triaging and analyzing application, data and upstream/downstream integration issues and Monitor Alert notifications and System logs and take appropriate action
- Debug complex issues and present their impact along with recommended solution to users and management
- Utilizing past experience to implement innovative approaches to help improve business processes and system performance
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Improve the enterprise systems by leveraging existing solutions when building new technology
- Collaborate with non ERP development teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable solutions
- Prepare Oracle Functional, Technical Design documents and Unit test documents for the related areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to have:
- At least 7 to 8 years of experience in IT as Oracle Finance Consultant
- Knowledge in any two Oracle Application Financial Modules Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, iExpenses iProcurement
- Should have good experience of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
- Should have good knowledge of working on Oracle PL/SQL
- Knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good communicator presentation skills to senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven history of successful problem solving with a sense of urgency
- Experience Oracle Workflow and Business Events (preferred)
- WebADI and Oracle Application Framework (preferred)
- Performance Tuning (not essential)
- Experience in Oracle 12.2 Upgrade (Not essential)
