Fire and Safety Officer

Should be well versed in periodical inspection of Fire panel, Electrical Panel, Hydrant system and Fire extinguishers and should maintain the necessary documentation of all equipments as per standard safety norms
Should be capable of driving and leading the evacuation drill and scenario-based mock drill for a large number of employees in warehousing and industrial sector
Should be able to implement and maintain fire safety requirements and accessories as per fire regulation, National building code, NFPA requirements for warehousing and industrial complexes
Should actively participate in the periodical inspection of License renewal (All Government Agencies), Internal, External audit and track all progressive observations till closure
Should have knowledge of legal requirement of waste management which is not limited only to fire related waste but also extended to scrap waste, e waste, solid waste, hazardous waste etc
Should be capable to identify possible fire and electrical hazards and should take preventive measures to control it and prevent premises with any hazardous damage
Should be responsible for supervising and provide training for staffs on security procedures and should also maintain basic firefighting equipment's record and first aid box on weekly/monthly basis
Should be knowledgeable and proficient with security and safety devices like CCTV, access control, fire detection and fighting system. He should also independently carry out weekly meetings with vendors and share MOM with Projects team
Candidate should conduct security investigations and should prepare report of any hazardous condition in premises and should suggest steps to close all NC's
Should take initiative to implement safety measures and standards by identifying the unsafe / hazardous areas and make action plan to rectify it
To keep the organization safe from any condition which can cause damage to the organization resources and should also create internal capacity to deal with the Emergency situation
Ensure the safety of the staff working on the machine by regular checking about the safeguard and he should also ensure the safe disposal/storage of hazardous wastage,
Should be skilled to prepare HIRA, SWP, SOP and all necessary documentation on quarterly basis (Preferred Candidate)
Should be responsible to conduct regular inspection, testing of fire prevention and protection systems like Fire Extinguishers, hydrants, detection system, sprinkler, and other fixed firefighting systems.
Should be responsible to Monitor and execute fire extinguisher refilling within due date as per annual refilling plan and maintenance of fire extinguisher register on monthly/quarterly basis
Qualification and Experience
Diploma / Graduation in Industrial Fire Safety management/EHS or BE (Mech.) or BE (Elec.)
Fire Investigation certification (CLI/RLI/ADIS) or any Fire and safety related certification
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Fire and Safety Dept
