Job Description
We are looking for BI and User support Administrator to join our Analytics and BI Team. The core responsibility of the successful candidate will be coordinating efforts across teams to assure stability and reliability of LKQs BI Reporting Platform based on Incorta Analytics. The Incorta Platform is deployed on Linux Operating System, and it is a key BI Reporting tool used by all functions across organization. BI and User support administrator will be responsible for performing daily administration and maintenance activities as well as closely cooperating with other IT functions. Another significant part of the role is making sure the needs of business users are met via the BI Platform, ensuring BI services are delivered in line with defined service levels.
Responsibilities -
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION / USER SUPPORT
- Provide and ensure that all administration and maintenance activities of Incorta Analytics Server are proactively executed (Install/Upgrade/Patch/Configure)
- Monitor and tune application performance to ensure high availability of infrastructure. Anticipate problems before they materialize
- Maintain System Security and ensure compliance with security standards
- Create and introduce monitoring tools/reports to measure and optimize system performance
- Coordinate with IT Infrastructure Team on backups and recoveries of servers and applications
- Provide Technical Support and Guidance
- Establish and manage level 2 and 3 support frameworks for users on BI Platform
- Establish Standard Operating Procedure documents for all support procedures and adhere to quality standards
- Maintain accurate information within the management systems
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Information Management/Science, or comparable professional area
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must Have
- 4+ years of professional and in-depth experience supporting and working with core BI Tools (e.g., BI reporting server, Tableau Server, etc.)
- Experience coordinating BI Tools administration efforts internally as well as through external vendors
- Experience participating in very complex projects involving multiple technologies, vendors, and parties (internal and external)
- Experience with working remotely in international business environment
- 2+ years of experience in service management
- 2+ years of experience in Apache Spark configuration
Nice to Have –
- Experience in implementation/support Incorta data analytics solution platform
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, PostgreSQL
- GCP experience, Zookeeper, cluster/tenant management
- Linux experience
- Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
- Knowledge on shell scripting /Perl/Python
