The Global SACM Specialist provides the experience, deep process understanding and foresight to build and maintain a leading-edge, world-class SACM program.
Service Asset and Configuration Management (SCAM) is responsible for the lifecycle of EY s IT assets (Acquisition through End of Life) as well as building and maintaining Configuration. Management Data Base (CMDB).
The underlying principle is to ensure complete and accurate IT Hardware Asset information, their relationship to IT Services, enabling operational efficiency, as well as identifying opportunities for cost savings/avoidance and risk mitigation.
7 years or more of practical IT Asset Management (HAM preferred) and CMDB experience.
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proven experience in working with diverse and geographically dispersed teams in a virtual environment.
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and identifying opportunities to avoid/save costs and reduce risk.
Understanding of IT service offerings, standards, policies, business strategies and financials.
Proven ability to lead the resolution of complex issues on a local/country/global basis.
Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes, Six Sigma methodology, Asset Management tools (ServiceNow preferably), analytical and BI tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Spotfire or equivalent), Common Service Data Model, CMDB build strategy.
Oversees the development of strategy, process alignment, performance measurement, training, and communications.
Ability to extend influence within the team and across teams to achieve results.
Drives Key Performance Indicators and aligns them with strategic technology goals.
Oversees analysis of the environment; ability to identify potential points of failure, areas for improving administration, and identifying pain points and bottlenecks.
Required to drive the development/implementation of the process to meet business requirements with minimal supervision.
Required to understand and integrate cultural differences/motives to interact with cross-cultural/cross-border teams.
7-10 years in a corporate IT environment.
Work experience in a professional services industry preferred.
Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) - IAITAM.
Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) - IAITAM.
ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (ITIL v3 acceptable).
Six Sigma Green Belt (White Belt acceptable).
Service Asset Configuration management (HAM CMDB).
