Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement academic process and policies across nursing courses to meet INC curriculum goals
- Guide faculty members in delivery of theory and lab sessions incorporating evidence based pedagogical system and approaches that maximizes learning outcome among students
- Supervise and mentor faculties for planning and execution of academic calendar, master rotation, lesson and subject plans as well as teaching standards
- Maintain coordination with hospitals and Institutions for clinical postings/field visits and ensure quality learning opportunities during such postings and visits
- Periodically evaluate performance of academic staff in accordance with the establishment performance plan and regularly share written reports
- Maintain student support system for course and research work including their clinical visits/field visits / research work/internship
- Have disciplinary administrative function over students
- Plan and implement academic events of the Institute including seminar, symposiums, workshops, trainings and lectures by specialists
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Directors/ college management from time to time
Desired Candidate Profile
M.Sc. Nursing in Medical Surgical Nursing (MSN)
Ph.D.-Nursing desirable
Total 12 years of experience out of which 10 years experience must be post M.Sc.(Nursing) with a minimum of 5 years in Collegiate Program.
