ACCOUNTS: KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and post all journal entries for a particular period;
- Check supporting information for all journal entries;
- Perform workings for complex Journals entries - POCM, IND-AS (brokerage, SLM, Finance lease, borrowing costs, etc.), provision for differential CAM, allocation of corporate/project expenses to respective entities, etc
- Perform Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Perform all month-end closing activities
- Post/Review entries related to asset purchase, sale, scrap, transfer
- Conduct capitalization and settlement runs for major projects
- Assist auditors with journal entry examinations, intercompany reconciliations, financial audits
- Possess strong knowledge of Indian GAAP and new Ind-AS accounting standards.
- Perform workings for complex Journals entries - POCM, IND-AS (brokerage, SLM, Finance lease, borrowing costs, etc.), provision for differential CAM, allocation of corporate/project expenses to respective entities, etc.
DIRECT TAX: KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct advance tax, deferred tax calculations
- Prepare data for transfer pricing audit
- Review data received from accounts team for tax audit
- Prepare data for provision of tax calculations, computation of income
- Prepare data required by the retained team for tax assessments
- Follow up with internal stakeholders on Tax related activities
- Prepare all reports per guidance from the retained organization
- Report / Analyze key metrics
- Prepare and review Statutory documents prepared by associate
- Incorporate changes to the data per feedback provided by the retained organizations
