About Role Category Sales Executive is the face of the organization and is responsible for representing JD Mart to its clients. CSE regularly interacts with clients from specific business categories and maintain business relationship with them. CSE educate the clients about the business opportunities being provided by JD Mart via its authentic buyer traffic and easy-to-use technical tools. It is a client facing role that provides the opportunity to learn more and more about ever evolving e-commerce industry. The role requires a mix of technical as well as sales skills. The right candidate will have great listening skills and is eager to help clients resolve all the business queries. CSE will facilitate the clients by regularly supporting them with their online presence and reach out to their target customers. They will have the ability to work across organizations and disciplines to build networks and accomplish business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
To acquire new clients and maintain relationship with existing clients.
To build knowledge based relationship with clients and understand nitty-gritties of clients business, like demand pattern, seasonality, key industries served, products bought by client, industry growth etc.
To build healthy sales funnel by reaching out to all the clients from allocated set of data and educating them about the products and services. Appointment setting and regular follow-ups to close the sales funnels.
To acquire all the targeted accounts within the region and generate business opportunities for the companys products and services.
To develop category expertise by understanding the technical aspects of products or services of their clients.
To help the clients in developing and maintaining online presence across JD Mart platforms like web and mobile applications.
To constantly update clients information and keep the client engaged to increase the visibility across search platforms. Forecasting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual revenue. Ensuring the achievement of sales target and managing sales support function. Capturing category specific market intelligence & providing regular updates to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Skills Required Proven negotiation skills and influencing abilities. Strong numerical and analytical aptitude. Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling and time management. Detail-oriented. Basic Qualification Graduation Relevant work experience: 2-4 years Mention languages required Experience of field or tele-sales Demonstrated experience of achieving sales targets within Indian B2B industry
Preferred Qualification B.Tech/BE Exposure to e-commerce industry Knowledge of digital marketing and functioning of search engines Experience selling services to Indian SMEs
