AVP Marketing, Branding and Communications
Reporting : VP - Marketing, Branding and Communications This position is responsible for managing the brand marketing and communications mandate for JBCN International schools. Role Description Communications forms a very critical component in building the brand image and audience advocacy through consistent and correct messaging. As the Corporate Communications Manager of JBCN Education the incumbent would be responsible for the development of content and brand collaterals, for both, internal and external communication of the organisation. The Corporate Communications Manager works independently and collaboratively with colleagues and extends support, guidance and information to all the stakeholders of the Head Office and the schools. The responsibilities would include: Content Creation and Communication
- Develop effective corporate communication and marketing strategies
- Manage internal communications (circulars, newsletters etc.) and draft content (e.g. press releases) for media or the website as may be required from time to time.
- Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences, liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
- Foster relationships with advocates and key persons and collaborate with marketing professionals.
- Assist in creating content at the Corporate Office (eg. creative and operational briefs, corporate presentations, strategy documents, emails etc for the Board of Directors or schools).
- Collate and proofread the content for all the JBCN Newsletters and blogs and ensure that the content is shared as per the timelines.
- Liaison with the JBCN School SPOCs to obtain information on what is happening in the school and create story opportunities.
- Create circulars, emails, marketing collaterals, brochures for internal and external communication.
- Assist the Academic team, HR Team and Board Members in content creation and management, documentation and proofreading as may be required.
- Research, collate and review all information about the schools for surveys, awards and conferences.
- Liaison with the PR/Branding/ Digital Marketing Agency or other such entity/ vendor/ agency to provide information and assist in maintaining the brand image and enable corporate communication.
2. Digital Marketing - Social Media & Website
- Review stories/posts for Social Media pages of the school and share with digital marketing team to be posted on various platforms
- Liaison with the web developer to ensure that the website content of the schools is correct and updated regularly.
- Liaison with the Digital Marketing agency for SM campaigns, blogs and any information for the digital medium.
- Liaison with graphic designer to create print and digital marketing materials.
3. Branding To develop a brand communications strategy, the incumbent will be required to lead work on the brand world and devise a communications calendar for the brand.
- Develop and devise the brand purpose and strategic position for JBCN as the institution of choice for parents and its learners
- To lead the development of brand docket, which includes working with agencies to design a corporate identity for brand JBCN
- Manage brand PR (Digital as well as Offline media)
- Lead Market research, surveys, NPS programs that drive learner effectiveness, parent engagement and new parent recruitments
- Coordinate with SMTs, Admissions counsellors and HODs to improve school awareness in a hyperlocal setup
- Ensuring message consistency across all brand touchpoints
- Manage relationship with agencies and vendors (Advertising, Media, Digital , PR, Events amongst others)
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist/guide in school/corporate office events, interviews, guest management, gifting and any other activity as may be required.
- Organize and help execute photo/video shoots for promotional use. Maintain a bank of photos/video for any collateral creation or marketing purposes.
