Based in Atlanta, Georgia, youll support solid waste, remediation, and sustainability projects for numerous public and private clients in key market areas. Your responsibilities will include supporting and delivering projects for municipal and hazardous waste facility permitting, design and engineering. You will help Jacobs advance the industry in sustainable waste and materials management, waste transfer, waste processing and organics management.
Youll develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive business through proposals, networking, and sole source opportunities across the Southeast. Youll also connect with other Jacobss waste solution practitioners throughout the US and Canadian regional markets, to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients. Here's What You'll Need:
Bachelors degree in a geotechnical or civil engineering
Professional solid waste landfill design related experience
Experience with site civil design and 3-D modeling, including roadways, grading, drainage, and related technologies
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
Ideally, Youll Also Have:
Masters degree in geotechnical or civil engineering
Experience with transfer stations, composting, waste collection and processing, sustainable waste management practices and waste-to-energy technologies
Project management experience, including proposal and business development experience
Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Georgia or ability to become registered in Georgia within one year after start of employment
Have a demonstrated track record in client relations and in positioning for, winning, and delivering successful solid waste projects in Georgia, Florida and beyond
Experience with project and account management tools and applications, such as pricing tools, project tracking tools, and customer account relationship tools
