Roles and Responsibilities
Marketing measures
- 1. Maintain relations with customers
Lead generation
- 1. Maintain database of generated leads and updated the same on regular basis.
Enquiry
- 1. Prepare enquiry tracker giving details about turnaround time from lead to enquiry, margin, geography, application, source, product family, etc.
Classifying enquiry as per defined parameters of the company.
- 1. Analyzing lost opportunities in terms of visits not converted into enquiries and submit the same to HOD on timely basis.
Quotations
- 1. Analyzing technical and commercial feasibility of generated enquiries.
- 2. Negotiate with customer on the terms and conditions with respect to payment terms, warranty terms, INCO terms, delivery terms, etc.
Resolving customer's queries with proper internal coordination in agreed time frame.
- 1. Ensure that follow up and status review of the 'sent quotation' is done by the marketing team.
- 2. Analyzing lost opportunities in terms of tenders not awarded, tenders not applied for, quotation not converted to orders and submit the same to HOD.
Order Acknowledgement & Internal coordination
- 1. Compare the order with the actual quotation sent and in case of deviation, approving / resolving the deviation from the customer on timely basis in the specified format available with the company by analyzing technical and commercial impact.
- 2. Ensure confirmation with respect to the order received from customer is sent by team after resolving any deviations in agreed time frame.
- 3. Ensure smooth coordination between concerned departments (design, production, purchase, planning, accounts etc.) regarding confirmed order.
Team Management
- 1. Delegate appropriate responsibilities to team members.
MIS
- 1. Submission of MIS on timely basis.
- 2. Review MIS submitted by his subordinates and update all escalations to management on timely basis.
