Your Role and Responsibilities
As Application Developer-AWS Cloud Microservices, you will develop microservices based applications or migrate existing monolith applications into Microservices based architecture.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on application development methodology and tools with a focus on Hybrid Cloud and IBM Kubernetes Service (IKS) based Applications.
- You will assist in the execution of a project by working with a senior-level resource on assigned development/ deployment activities. This can be designing, building, and maintaining IBM Kubernetes Service (IKS) based hybrid cloud environments focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools
- Build applications on IBM Cloud Platform based platform components and services
- You will be working on cloud-based application modernization.
- You will be creating, recreating, rewriting, and refactor applications.
- You will develop solutions using Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Event Grid.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in working AWS Microservices.
- Experience in Java, Springboot, Spring Cloud attributes, Microservices communications (Asynchronous or Synchronous), circuit breakers, service discovery, API gateway, Hibernate, RDBMS, or No SQL DB
- In-depth knowledge of containerization.
- Hands on experience in building microservices on AWS leveraging container technologies
- Expertise in AWS beanstock, AWS tools & SDK, AWS Cloud9, AWS CodeStar, AWS Command line interface, etc.
- Solid experience with deploying at scale various containerized web and data applications and services using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, XRay, and other monitoring solutions, etc.
