Profile: Operations Legal
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Scrutiny and Appraisal Scrutiny of title documents relating to property to be financed, appraisal of title documents of projects and interpretation of circulars concerned with real estate business.
2) Drafting and Vetting Vetting, drafting, review of agreements, notices, petitions for and on behalf of the company.
3) Liasioning with External Lawyers Coordination with external lawyers and internal team members for seeking and providing optimal legal solutions.
4) Liasioning with Judicial Authorities Visiting police stations, consumer forums and courts for litigation and non litigation matters to ensure speedy resolution of cases.
5) Due Diligence Due Diligence of high value, refinance, appraiser, customized business loans which will crystallize the legal opinions.
6) Training Training the credit appraisers on various legal aspects by visiting branches and training them on various issues for handling customer queries.
Skills
1) Communication Skills Strong command over verbal/written communication (Proficiency over regional language is a must).
2) Functional Knowledge Relevant knowledge on Property Laws, Business Laws, Corporate laws and ability in drafting various legal documents.
3) Team Work Ability to work in a team to achieve the organization's goals.
4) Interpersonal Skills The candidate should have the ability to explain and guide a layman on legal documents required for property transactions with considerable patience.
5) Integrity "To exhibit high level of integrity and business ethics."
6) Decision Making Generate an array of possible solutions to select the best option for assessing the impact of the decision and forecast the course of action required.
