Designation- Asst Manager-Legal
Reporting to- C.F.O.
Type of Role Individual Contributor
Qualification- Graduate in Law/LLB/LLM ; Additional CS qualification preferred
Experience required- Post qualification experience of 4 to 6 years. Work experience in Retail industry will be preferred.
Location- Rabale, Navi Mumbai
Key responsibilities:-
- Vetting/Reviewing/Drafting/Negotiating and finalizing agreements/documents of wide spectrum like Letter of Intent, Lease, Leave & license, NDAs, Marketing, E-commerce, supply chain, franchise, distributorship, payment gateway agreements.
- Work with external counsels/ agencies for Co-ordination/Assistance in Registration of Lease and Leave & License agreements.
- Reviewing/Monitoring/Managing the store compliances in all areas of laws and have preventive measures in place and strengthening the compliance management framework.
- Review progress of outstanding litigations and liaise with external lawyers.
- Assisting/Advising Stakeholders on legal issues & risks, approval processes, company policies, procedures & legal strategies.
Key Competencies-
- Good communication and Interpretation skills, ability to summarize/brief things, proficiency in drafting agreements / contracts.
- Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad responsibilities.
- Ability to provide alternatives when there are issues in agreements / regulations.
- In depth knowledge of laws applicable to the business.
- Efficient in observing deadlines and meeting commitments.
- Ability to work independently.
