Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Projects
The purpose of this position is to drive innovation and continuous process improvement initiatives and champion enhancement of existing and implementation of new IT applications to enable supply chain India business teams to meet operational challenges, key KPIs and internal and external customer expectations.
Assistant Manager- Supply Chain Projects acts as an effective interface between supply chain India business team and internal technology teams and other cross functional teams to provide and implement effective supply chain solutions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise 1 to 2 team members within supply chain projects team.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
GTS (Global Technology Solutions), Associate (Customer) Service, Sales, Administration, Global Strategic sourcing, Finance & Accounts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering & Masters degree (in Business Administration / operations management / Engineering)
Roles & Responsibility
- Work closely with Supply Chain Teams to understand challenges in current processes and existing applications and work with cross functional teams and internal and external technology teams to provide solutions that enable supply chain teams to effectively serve our customers and meet key KPIs.
- Facilitate implementation of organization wide cross functional programs by representing supply chain and understanding the implications and designing solutions from supply chain perspective.
- Implement innovative solutions by researching market and industry trends that enhance supply chain sustainability, automation, and digitization.
- Act as an effective interface between supply chain business teams and internal technology teams.
Skills :- Process Improvement, Program/ Project Management, Lean/ Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Innovation, Supply Chain Management.
Experience: 5 to 7 Years of experience in supply chain projects / process excellence/ operations in direct selling / e commerce/ FMCG/ consumer packaged goods/ Health and wellness/ Retail or other Business to Consumer (B2C) businesses.
